Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Denis Olo made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Cecilio Ibañez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Palermo FC's Leonel Buinton. Leonel Buinton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ubaldo Galtero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Cecilio Ibañez came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the C. A. Sangre y Barro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Ibañez couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Baladi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Baladi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonel Buinton having to make a save. After 19 played minutes C. A. Sangre y Barro got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Pasqual. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Denis Olo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palermo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Olo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Sal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Salbatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Sal having to interfere. Francisco Salbatore struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Fabian Sal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palermo FC. After having played for 47 minutes, Ricardo Baladi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Sangre y Barro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Baladi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cecilio Ibañez to make the kick off. Fabian Sal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Olo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Leonel Buinton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Baladi in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Galtero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Sangre y Barro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palermo FC the free kick. In the 56th match minute, C. A. Sangre y Barro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Galtero to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Palermo FC's Denis Olo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Sal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Francisco Salbatore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fabian Sal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Sangre y Barro's zone, Paolo Lekubegi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Sal came out of the goal and Paolo Lekubegi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to C. A. Sangre y Barro getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Siro Iturri hit a great ball. After some careless play in the C. A. Sangre y Barro defense, Francisco Salbatore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Sal. The C. A. Sangre y Barro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Sal should have stopped the shot. If Ricardo Baladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 79 minutes, Denis Olo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palermo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Olo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
