An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Platon in the 24th minute of play forced Raíces's goalkeeper Feliberto Rios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Raíces's Feliberto Rios got control of the ball when Cleto Perutxo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Chovet FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Raíces.
