Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Segundo Dantel started the match with the kick off. Santiago Abechuco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santiago Abechuco might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimiro Herena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santiago Abechuco ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Santiago Abechuco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spurr AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Abechuco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiro Herena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santiago Abechuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Herena having to interfere. Prudencio Fraco hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerritos's goalkeeper Vladimiro Herena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santiago Abechuco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimiro Herena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Santiago Abechuco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vladimiro Herena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, Cerritos's Desiderio Mundo threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Segundo Dantel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vladimiro Herena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Cambranes went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Vladimiro Herena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Abechuco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the match, Cerritos's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Abechuco came free, but Vladimiro Herena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Spurr AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Santiago Abechuco made the kick off in the second half. Cerritos's Vladimiro Herena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Cerritos from getting a goal against them. Spurr AFC's Santiago Abechuco got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute Santiago Abechuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Herena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cerritos's Segundo Dantel got a free kick in the 64th minute. Cristo Fertus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Vladimiro Herena when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vladimiro Herena made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Guido Lizbeth sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute, Santiago Abechuco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vladimiro Herena. The goal made the score 0-3. Santiago Abechuco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Vladimiro Herena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cerritos's Vladimiro Herena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Abechuco in the 77th minute of play. Segundo Dantel kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. If Cristo Fertus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute.
