He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saraza reached it. Joel Reynardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Nesor in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Saraza's zone, Edgardo Estebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Reynardo came out of the goal and Edgardo Estebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute Edgardo Estebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Reynardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Saraza defense, Danilo Nesor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Reynardo. The Saraza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Reynardo should have stopped the shot. Gerardo Iliana kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Raimundo Lugo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Adrian Sotero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Primitivo Cordeal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Estebe in the 35th minute of play forced Saraza's goalkeeper Joel Reynardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, C.A. Boca Juniors's Edgardo Estebe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Reynardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 42 minutes of play, C.A. Boca Juniors's Danilo Nesor made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
