The supporters of Vencedores vencidos F.C. booed when Luisisto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Fernendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armando Osoitz was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Santo in the 51st minute of play forced Luisisto FC's goalkeeper Anibal Mano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Aimar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Anibal Mano made a huge save. When Zeledon Jerano fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luisisto FC's protests and gave Zeledon Jerano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, one of Luisisto FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Luisisto FC. When the match had been going on for 66 minutes, Vencedores vencidos F.C.'s Modesto Sendoa got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Anibal Mano. In the 69th minute Nicanor Osmundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Mano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicanor Osmundo might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anibal Mano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicanor Osmundo ran back to his position shaking his head. Anibal Mano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Osmundo in the 99th minute of play. Vencedores vencidos F.C. played a much better game than Luisisto FC and deserved their victory. The Luisisto FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
