The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Omar Ur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 played minutes Resistencia Suburbana got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Seber. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Resistencia Suburbana's goalkeeper Erasmo Breogan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luisito Ortzi struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Abel Seguinus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Resistencia Suburbana. In the 18th minute Primitivo Ermano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Seguinus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remigio Atauri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Breogan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Enol got free with Erasmo Breogan in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Resistencia Suburbana's Erasmo Breogan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Resistencia Suburbana from getting a goal against them. Primitivo Ermano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Seguinus having to interfere. If Paulo Enol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Seguinus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Ermano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Paulo Enol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nahueve AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Enol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Breogan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luisito Ortzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remigio Atauri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulo Enol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute Remigio Atauri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Breogan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Luisito Ortzi lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated Abel Seguinus. Erasmo Breogan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Enol, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Erasmo Breogan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Atauri in the 68th minute of the match. Erasmo Breogan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Enol in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Freddy Baristo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nahueve AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Resistencia Suburbana the free kick. Freddy Baristo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nahueve AFC's zone, Luisito Ortzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Seguinus came out of the goal and Luisito Ortzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Remigio Atauri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luisito Ortzi kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Paulo Enol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Breogan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remigio Atauri struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Erasmo Breogan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nahueve AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Atauri in the 86th minute of play forced Resistencia Suburbana's goalkeeper Erasmo Breogan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Enol in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Breogan saved Resistencia Suburbana from getting behind. Danilo Seber kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Erasmo Breogan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Enol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Resistencia Suburbana players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
