Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Polentzi in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Hermon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the game, one of Quebrachitos AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pablo Duardo struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Vicente Hermon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quebrachitos AFC. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Rafael Polentzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quebrachitos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Polentzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Hermon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Anjullan's zone, Pablo Duardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Hermon came out of the goal and Pablo Duardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Anjullan getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Orlando Christobal hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos AFC's goalkeeper Rogelio Luzea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victoriano Camerino. The Anjullan fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Anjullan's Victoriano Camerino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Quebrachitos AFC's Javier Gaizko got a free kick in the 41st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Nuno in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogelio Luzea saved Quebrachitos AFC from getting behind. Rogelio Luzea acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from David Rocendo. The audience was convinced that Rafael Polentzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente Hermon was relentless in the 49th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Nuno was the one to do the kick off. Pablo Duardo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. Quebrachitos AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Pablo Duardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Vicente Hermon made a huge save. Vicente Hermon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Duardo in the 60th minute of the match. The Quebrachitos AFC fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Quebrachitos AFC's Rafael Polentzi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The referee gave Anjullan a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by David Rocendo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Quebrachitos AFC's Rogelio Luzea. 2-1. Vicente Hermon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Duardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogelio Luzea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Camerino, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Camerino in the 78th minute of play forced Quebrachitos AFC's goalkeeper Rogelio Luzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pablo Duardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pablo Duardo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vicente Hermon came out and tried to block the shot, but Pablo Duardo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anjullan's goalkeeper Vicente Hermon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Pablo Duardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, Baldomero Heli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anjullan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quebrachitos AFC the free kick. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
