The audience was convinced that Leonardo Matxin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gervasio Cutberto was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Gervasio Cutberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Matxin in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Waska FC's Guillermo Matthew nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomiro Illan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Guillermo Matthew might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baldomiro Illan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guillermo Matthew ran back to his position shaking his head. 20 minutes into the game, Clemente Elia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tunuyán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Waska FC the free kick. In the 21st minute of the match Esteve Basajaun shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baldomiro Illan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ricardo Harriet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Illan having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Hernan Galeno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tunuyán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Galeno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tunuyán's Baldomiro Illan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Harriet in the 45th minute of play. Gervasio Cutberto made a fantastic save in the 49th minute, when Nunez Mede sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Harriet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Leonardo Matxin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 55th minute, Benicio Sengrat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, Ricardo Harriet dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Baldomiro Illan, 1-2. Ricardo Harriet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Illan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Waska FC's Benicio Sengrat got a free kick in the 70th minute. Gervasio Cutberto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Tunuyán's Nunez Mede shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Ricardo Harriet took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Baldomiro Illan to make any attempt to save it. Gervasio Cutberto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonardo Matxin went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Waska FC's Ladislao Bermund got a free kick in the 86th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nunez Mede in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gervasio Cutberto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th match minute, Waska FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Sengrat to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Matxin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Harriet in the 92nd minute of play forced Tunuyán's goalkeeper Baldomiro Illan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
