The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aureliano Belmiro struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Jaime Ponciano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quiñihuao. In the 10th minute, Anier Iban ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaime Ponciano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anier Iban in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaime Ponciano saved Pulares FC from getting behind. Leopoldo Emmanuel charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopoldo Emmanuel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Pulares FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Emmanuel to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Alejandro Otoniel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pulares FC's Jaime Ponciano didn't even have to move. Anier Iban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Quiñihuao getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Benedicto Leobardo hit a great ball. Pulares FC's Cirilo Mancio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Quiñihuao. 36 minutes into the game, Fernan Justin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pulares FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quiñihuao the free kick. In the 39th minute Anier Iban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Ponciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aureliano Belmiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergio Moise to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Truylos in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Silvanito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pulares FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Moise was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Quiñihuao's zone, Nicolas Truylos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Silvanito came out of the goal and Nicolas Truylos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pulares FC's Nicolas Truylos got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sergio Moise scored 1-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Silvanito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Nicolas Truylos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quiñihuao's Christian Silvanito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Truylos in the 88th minute of play.
