In the 8th minute, one of Ayapaso AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ayapaso AFC. Eusebio Cristofor kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Erasmo Gaspard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Lonzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ayapaso AFC's goalkeeper Erasmo Gaspard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erasmo Gaspard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Lonzo in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Chico in the 27th minute of play forced Ayapaso AFC's goalkeeper Erasmo Gaspard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jairo Lonzo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Gaspard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute Aristides Chico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Gaspard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Oliverios charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Oliverios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anselmo Oliverios kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusebio Cristofor to make the kick off. Aristides Chico struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Erasmo Gaspard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tamberías AFC. Ayapaso AFC's Erasmo Gaspard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Ayapaso AFC from getting a goal against them. Eusebio Cristofor's late challenge caught a Tamberías AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusebio Cristofor helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ayapaso AFC's Eusebio Cristofor got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ayapaso AFC's goalkeeper Erasmo Gaspard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jairo Lonzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Erasmo Gaspard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Ayapaso AFC's goalkeeper Erasmo Gaspard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Lonzo. Aristides Chico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erasmo Gaspard having to make a save. If Jairo Lonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 97 minutes, Jairo Lonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tamberías AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Lonzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tamberías AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
