When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Iker Canor took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Augusto Natal to make any attempt to save it. Gregorio Abalos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Augusto Natal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremias Erlantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Osoro in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Pascual Abreu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Augusto Natal. Pascual Abreu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Esteve Osoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Eudoxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Erlantz having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Eudoxio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
