Tambillo AFC's Clodoveo Ospin got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Chihuahua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Terciero came free, but Rogelio Matthew reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tambillo AFC's Hilario Terciero got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anier Fe took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustacio Estavan. Eustacio Estavan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Tambillo AFC's Clodoveo Ospin got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Chihuahua FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Fidel Eufrasio hit a great ball. If Esteban Urdaspal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Siro Gerazan fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tambillo AFC's protests and gave Siro Gerazan a yellow card for diving instead. Esteban Urdaspal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Terciero in the 71st minute of play forced Chihuahua FC's goalkeeper Rogelio Matthew to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Clodoveo Ospin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tambillo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Clodoveo Ospin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Matthew breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute, Esteban Urdaspal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Siro Gerazan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. In the 83rd minute of the match Benigno Perez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eustacio Estavan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Tambillo AFC defense, Esteban Urdaspal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eustacio Estavan. The Tambillo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustacio Estavan should have stopped the shot. If Clodoveo Ospin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Ospin in the 93rd minute of play forced Chihuahua FC's goalkeeper Rogelio Matthew to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clodoveo Ospin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
