Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eustacio Etxepare took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Bazil in the 4th minute of play forced Caseros FC's goalkeeper Inocencio Itzaina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelino Osoitz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Amador Jax when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Atletico de Rafaela's Amador Jax proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico de Rafaela from getting a goal against them. Leonel Pagomari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inocencio Itzaina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Bazil, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 15th match minute, Caseros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Oxarra to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Atletico de Rafaela booed when Caseros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Tomi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico de Rafaela's zone, Eustacio Etxepare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Jax came out of the goal and Eustacio Etxepare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Atletico de Rafaela's Bonifacio Vergaray got a free kick in the 30th minute. Godofredo Oxarra was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 37th minute Eustacio Etxepare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Jax saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Eustacio Etxepare managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caseros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustacio Etxepare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amador Jax breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Marcelino Osoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Pagomari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Inocencio Itzaina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Atletico de Rafaela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Toribio to maneuver through the defense. When Caseros FC's Marcelino Osoitz in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atletico de Rafaela's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Atletico de Rafaela booed when Caseros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Tomi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amador Jax showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Tomi in the 64th minute of the match. Leonel Pagomari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Eustacio Etxepare's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amador Jax was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. If Santo Bazil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Leonel Pagomari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Caseros FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Humberto Gartzea hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, Caseros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Bazil came free, but Inocencio Itzaina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Atletico de Rafaela eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
