Ruben Egun charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruben Egun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ruben Egun hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Candido Luke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Saujil AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Clodoveo Guerau fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Ruben Egun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Melchor Dominix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Candido Luke took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Obano. Ivan Obano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ivan Belmiro's late challenge caught a Saujil AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Belmiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th match minute, Animán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Belmiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Animán AFC's goalkeeper Omar Irrintzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ruben Egun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Animán AFC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Severino Galo hit a great ball. Candido Luke who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Ivan Obano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Clodoveo Guerau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Dominix scored 1-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Omar Irrintzi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Melchor Dominix made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Rafael Ariando sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Omar Irrintzi skillfully saved the ball. In the 55th minute Melchor Dominix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Melchor Dominix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Saujil AFC booed when Animán AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Luke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Omar Irrintzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Dominix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Obano came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Animán AFC's Candido Luke. But to his dismay, Candido Luke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 77th match minute, Animán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Belmiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th match minute, Animán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Belmiro to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on Saujil AFC's corner Nicasio Bautista fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Omar Irrintzi quite easily take care of the ball. Omar Irrintzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Dominix, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute, Melchor Dominix fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Saujil AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Animán AFC.
