Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonides Ruy started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Arturo Blai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independiente and the C.A.Budin Gandin players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Independiente's Arturo Blai got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Rafael Ekain hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 5thth minute of the game Leonides Ruy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.Budin Gandin's Gaspar Mogel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 9th minute, C.A.Budin Gandin's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arturo Blai fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, C.A.Budin Gandin's Gaspar Mogel got control of the ball when Arturo Blai tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute, Rafael Ekain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute of the match Israel Ederono shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaspar Mogel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Salvatore in the 15th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Romulo Maurin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19thth minute of the game Carlos Urbasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independiente's Romulo Maurin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Urbasa came free, but Romulo Maurin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Froilan Seber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.Budin Gandin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independiente the free kick. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A.Budin Gandin! 35 minutes into the match, C.A.Budin Gandin's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Ruy came free, but Gaspar Mogel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arturo Blai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Carlos Urbasa came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the C.A.Budin Gandin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Urbasa couldn't finish the play. Gaspar Mogel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Ruy, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Urbasa to strike the kick off in the second half. Romulo Maurin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Salvatore in the 52nd minute of the match. Fausto Salvatore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonides Ruy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gaspar Mogel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leonides Ruy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Carlos Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romulo Maurin came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.Budin Gandin's Fausto Salvatore. But to his dismay, Fausto Salvatore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 72nd minute, Israel Ederono sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and C.A.Budin Gandin's Gaspar Mogel didn't even have to move. C.A.Budin Gandin's Gaspar Mogel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Ruy in the 80th minute of play. Arturo Blai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Gaspar Mogel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonides Ruy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Independiente's goalkeeper Romulo Maurin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Salvatore. In the 95thth minute of the game Arturo Blai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.Budin Gandin's Gaspar Mogel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chants of C.A.Budin Gandin echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Independiente had held the ball for most of the match.
