Club Atlético Canaleja's Benicio Jaume got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th match minute, Club Atlético Canaleja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Jaume to maneuver through the defense. After 17 played minutes Huascha got a freekick which was hit by Siro Colon. After 19 played minutes, Club Atlético Canaleja's Feliciano Feo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dante Oliverio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atlético Canaleja reached it. Huascha's Dante Oliverio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Jaume in the 20th minute of play. If Benicio Jaume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Oliverio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodoro Seguinus charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodoro Seguinus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Huascha getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Teodoro Seguinus hit a great ball. Dante Oliverio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atilano Ourente's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Dante Oliverio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Jaume in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute Atilano Ourente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Oliverio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Oliverio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Jaume in the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Huascha's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Jaume came free, but Dante Oliverio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Huascha players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Atlético Canaleja were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benicio Jaume to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Andres Rutenio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Oliverio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Jaume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Huascha's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Benicio Jaume scored to the left of an out of position Dante Oliverio, making the score, 0-2. A collision led to Club Atlético Canaleja getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Aquilino Lobo hit a great ball. After 70 played minutes Club Atlético Canaleja got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Ilixo. After 73 minutes of play, Club Atlético Canaleja's Atilano Ourente made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Oliverio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dante Oliverio made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Atilano Ourente sent off a good shot on target. Vicente Beltza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Pirro in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Pirro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Vicente Beltza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Jaume in the 94th minute of play forced Huascha's goalkeeper Dante Oliverio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Eustaquio Pirro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huascha's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Pirro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Beltza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Club Atlético Canaleja's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
