Luciano Rayman made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Atilano Rik sent off a good shot on target. After 14 minutes of play, Taka's Gualterio Bertol made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luciano Rayman was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerrito FC's goalkeeper Luciano Rayman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Grabiel in the 21st minute of play forced Taka's goalkeeper Herminio Henrico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atilano Rik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laureano Bernaldo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Gualterio Bertol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Rayman having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Benigno Grabiel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Herminio Henrico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Atilano Rik fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taka's protests and gave Atilano Rik a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cerrito FC's goalkeeper Luciano Rayman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gualterio Bertol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Benigno Grabiel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Herminio Henrico. The goal made the score 1-2. Albino Fidele struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Herminio Henrico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cerrito FC. Atilano Rik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Gualterio Bertol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gualterio Bertol came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Taka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualterio Bertol couldn't finish the play. In the 74th match minute, Cerrito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Bernaldo to maneuver through the defense. Gualterio Bertol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Rayman having to interfere. Atilano Rik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gualterio Bertol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Laureano Bernaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Taka's zone, Benigno Grabiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Henrico came out of the goal and Benigno Grabiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Cerrito FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
