The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Constantino Norino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Esquipula in the 13th minute of play. Honorio Elija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorio Elija recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Talleres's goalkeeper Eriberto Silvino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eriberto Silvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Niva in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Andres Esquipula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Norino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Berasko kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Andres Esquipula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of bostex booed when Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Remicio didn't get a good kick on the ball. bostex's attack was well implemented in the 31st minute, but when Honorio Elija was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Marcelino Abreu scored 0-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Constantino Norino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andres Esquipula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Constantino Norino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The bostex players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Talleres were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aristides Niva was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 87 minutes, Aristides Niva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. bostex's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Niva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andres Esquipula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Norino having to interfere. Andres Esquipula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The bostex fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Talleres were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
