If Lino Maureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Cordero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Abarca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. When Euskadi FC's Raimundo Cordero in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pitbull Terrier's goalie prevented a goal. Candido Sindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Jakes having to interfere. Santiago Chico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Feliberto Jakes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Euskadi FC's Feliberto Jakes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Chico in the 21st minute of play. Teodoro Luzaide hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes Euskadi FC got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Mano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Lawrence in the 29th minute of play forced Euskadi FC's goalkeeper Feliberto Jakes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Pitbull Terrier's Santiago Chico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliberto Jakes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Apolo Abarca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Maureo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Generoso Lawrence blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feliberto Jakes having to make a save. Santiago Chico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Feliberto Jakes made a huge save. Raimundo Cordero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 47th minute, Lino Maureo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Apolo Abarca was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lino Maureo was the one to do the kick off. Euskadi FC's Lino Maureo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Maureo in the 58th minute of play forced Pitbull Terrier's goalkeeper Apolo Abarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Generoso Lawrence sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 64th minute, Raimundo Cordero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Lino Maureo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Apolo Abarca, 1-2. In the 76th minute, Anier Escobar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 80 minutes, Generoso Lawrence managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pitbull Terrier's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Lawrence was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Euskadi FC's Celedonio Mano got a free kick in the 81st minute. Santiago Chico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Generoso Lawrence received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Feliberto Jakes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Euskadi FC's Lino Maureo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Apolo Abarca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Euskadi FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
