The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Apolo Abarca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Urtsin couldn't finish the play. When Eloy Muno fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pitbull Terrier's protests and gave Eloy Muno a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pitbull Terrier's Eloy Muno got a free kick in the 29th minute. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Elias Jesco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 55 minutes into the match, Pitbull Terrier's Santiago Chico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benigno Eladio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Pitbull Terrier's Santiago Chico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benigno Eladio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 61 minutes into the match, Pitbull Terrier's Generoso Lawrence sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benigno Eladio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pitbull Terrier's goalkeeper Apolo Abarca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benigno Eladio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Lawrence, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Amadores FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
