In the 3rd match minute, Goyo Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Lartaun to maneuver through the defense. Marciano Osasun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltasar Soin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Antonio Mogel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Goyo Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Osasun came free, but Francisco Euloxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Goyo Futbol Club booed when Papagayos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Gabino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Marciano Osasun made a precise shot to the right of Francisco Euloxu. Goyo Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Goyo Futbol Club's zone, Marciano Osasun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Euloxu came out of the goal and Marciano Osasun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Goyo Futbol Club's Baltasar Soin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Antonio Mogel. Antonio Mogel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Aznaro to make the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by David Aznaro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 56th minute Baltasar Soin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Mogel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebio Romildo struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Antonio Mogel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goyo Futbol Club. Francisco Euloxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Aznaro in the 67th minute of play. Marciano Osasun struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
