Florentino Maurino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chovet. In the 27thth minute of the game Jairo Bernard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defensores de Belgrano's Florentino Maurino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Defensores de Belgrano's Florentino Maurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Bernard in the 29th minute of play. Florentino Maurino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Musko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Fermin Musko notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Defensores de Belgrano's Florentino Maurino. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustacio Lleir made a kick off. Defensores de Belgrano's Florentino Maurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Bernard in the 51st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Chovet's Luisito Ruy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florentino Maurino. That made the score 0-5 after 63 minutes of play. Cleto Cordara's late challenge caught a Chovet's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cleto Cordara helped the player get up and apologised. Cleto Cordara hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Jairo Bernard took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Florentino Maurino to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvano Darien during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Florentino Maurino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Bernard in the 81st minute of play. The corner led Chovet's Fernan Ekain to fire away a dangerous shot which Florentino Maurino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Silvano Darien came free in the 87th minute and tried to tip the ball over Abel Poz, but to the joy of Chovet's supporters the ball went over. If Jairo Bernard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Bernard might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florentino Maurino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jairo Bernard ran back to his position shaking his head. Chovet's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
