When Alonzo Belo fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cayanta's protests and gave Alonzo Belo a yellow card for diving instead. Elpidio Serapio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Raymon in the 12th minute of the match. If Baltasar Harkaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Deportivo Porron's Geronimo Nalo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elpidio Serapio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Deportivo Porron's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Baldomiro Macerio in the 22nd minute. The corner led Deportivo Porron's Baldomiro Macerio to fire away a dangerous shot which Elpidio Serapio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Filomeno Loiola kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Deportivo Porron got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Azevedo. Baltasar Harkaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Salvatore having to interfere. 35 minutes in the game, Baltasar Harkaitz dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 36th match minute, Deportivo Porron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Aldo Loreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Salvatore having to interfere. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Cayanta. Aurelio Herensuge stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Elpidio Salvatore. 1-2. Elpidio Salvatore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Harkaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Aldo Loreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elpidio Salvatore was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Silvano Gomez kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute of the match Aurelio Herensuge shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elpidio Salvatore showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half Cayanta were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Javier Raymon made the kick off in the second half. Elpidio Serapio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Raymon in the 54th minute of play. Aldo Loreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Salvatore having to interfere. Sergio Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Nalo in the 65th minute of play forced Cayanta's goalkeeper Elpidio Serapio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Raymon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Elpidio Serapio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Geronimo Nalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Cayanta getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Alonzo Belo hit a great ball. When Deportivo Porron's Javier Raymon in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cayanta's goalie prevented a goal. If Javier Raymon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cayanta players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
