Ezequiel Mannie started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Lamarque's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Mannie came free, but Francisco Flores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severino Orland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Ezkerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezequiel Mannie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Flores having to make a save. If Luis Remigio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. After 25 minutes, Fabricio Galo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Perón and the Lamarque players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Perón getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Fabricio Galo hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Perón's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Alvarez came free, but Severino Orland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Perón's zone, Camilo Ezkerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Orland came out of the goal and Camilo Ezkerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severino Orland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Ezkerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Luis Remigio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Orland having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Luis Remigio notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Perón's Severino Orland. Severino Orland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lamarque's Francisco Flores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Lamarque from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Remigio to strike the kick off in the second half. If Camilo Ezkerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 63 minutes, Luis Remigio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lamarque's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Remigio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Ezkerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Severino Orland made a huge save. Candido Errolan charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Candido Errolan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Candido Errolan hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Perón's Fabricio Cristofol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Flores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luis Remigio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Orland having to interfere. The supporters of Perón booed when Lamarque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Alvarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Flores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabricio Cristofol's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Camilo Ezkerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Severino Orland made a huge save. If Fabricio Cristofol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Mannie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Francisco Flores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Perón were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lamarque for a fine match.
