The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, El 970 CM3's goalkeeper Godofredo Ugaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavio Erramu. After having played for 11 minutes, Gabriel Elixio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Te re cabio guachin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Elixio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Gorka in the 14th minute of play forced Te re cabio guachin's goalkeeper Tadeo Florian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Celso Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Te re cabio guachin's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godofredo Ugaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. El 970 CM3's Godofredo Ugaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Romero in the 18th minute of play. Cipriano Vargas hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Flavio Erramu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tadeo Florian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Gar in the 31st minute of play. Abel Castulo charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Castulo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abel Castulo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Te re cabio guachin getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Horacio Chap hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, El 970 CM3's Ruben Reynardo tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tadeo Florian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astor Gar, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celso Romero to strike the kick off in the second half. If Flavio Erramu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Serafino Galo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Leizarraga in the 61st minute of play forced El 970 CM3's goalkeeper Godofredo Ugaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to El 970 CM3 getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Serafino Galo hit a great ball. Godofredo Ugaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Erramu in the 71st minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Paolo Gorka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El 970 CM3's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Gorka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Astor Gar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeo Florian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After 75 minutes, Serafino Galo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El 970 CM3 and the Te re cabio guachin players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to El 970 CM3 getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Serafino Galo hit a great ball. With a little luck, Te re cabio guachin's Tadeo Florian got control of the ball when Paolo Gorka tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paolo Gorka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Tadeo Florian made a huge save. Horacio Chap's late challenge caught a El 970 CM3's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horacio Chap helped the player get up and apologised. If Paolo Gorka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
