With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicasio Abeita in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Lidon saved Joyango FC from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, Joyango FC's goalkeeper Andres Lidon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Genaro Indartsu. Pascual Phelipe's late challenge caught a Cochequingán AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascual Phelipe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, Joyango FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Phelipe to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 34 minutes, Genaro Indartsu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cochequingán AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genaro Indartsu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Joyango FC's zone, Genaro Indartsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andres Lidon came out of the goal and Genaro Indartsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genaro Indartsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Lidon having to interfere. Andres Lidon made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Genaro Indartsu sent off a good shot on target.

In the 54th minute, Efrain Guillen fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Roman Sandalio. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Joyango FC's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. Efrain Guillen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joyango FC's Andres Lidon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Abeita in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Joyango FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Fidel Oriche hit a great ball. When Fidel Oriche fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joyango FC's protests and gave Fidel Oriche a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, Fidel Oriche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Efrain Guillen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Roman Sandalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genaro Indartsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Lidon having to interfere. Nicasio Abeita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joyango FC's Andres Lidon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Abeita in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Abeita in the 96th minute of play forced Joyango FC's goalkeeper Andres Lidon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cochequingán AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
