An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Goizeder in the 5th minute of play forced Elertondo's goalkeeper Jonatan Librado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Capdeville's goalkeeper Joaquin Gines had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severo Benitez. Severo Benitez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gines having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Ildefonso Goizeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Capdeville fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! Capdeville:s Joaquin Gines showed great skill when he stopped Ramiro Maraman:s penalty. Joaquin Gines was a little too slow when Ramiro Maraman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Genaro Gabon in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gines saved Capdeville from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Capdeville's zone, Severo Benitez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gines came out of the goal and Severo Benitez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ildefonso Goizeder made the kick off in the second half. When Elertondo's Severo Benitez in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jonatan Librado made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Hermengildo Estefan sent off a good shot on target. Ildefonso Goizeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jonatan Librado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Capdeville's Joaquin Gines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Benitez in the 68th minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Capdeville's goalkeeper Joaquin Gines, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Genaro Gabon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gines having to interfere. Jonatan Librado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Goizeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Mauricio Cebrian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Severo Benitez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elertondo's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Benitez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gines breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hermengildo Estefan might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonatan Librado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermengildo Estefan ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Ildefonso Goizeder got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Capdeville had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
