Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodrigo Munio started the match with the kick off. Elias Gartzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Fernandez having to interfere. Elias Gartzi came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leo Fernandez could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Aurken in the 17th minute of play forced Barrancas FC's goalkeeper Prudencio Hernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Barrancas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Aurken came free, but Prudencio Hernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cipriano Iztal struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Prudencio Hernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roldán. Evelio Aurken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Prudencio Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Gartzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Barrancas FC's Rodrigo Munio in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Roldán's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Munio in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Fernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Elias Gartzi came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Barrancas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Gartzi couldn't finish the play. Rodrigo Munio struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Leo Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrancas FC. In the 44th minute, Evelio Aurken left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Roldán fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Iztal in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prudencio Hernandez saved Barrancas FC from getting behind. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 62nd minute, Leonardo Dimo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leo Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Gartzi in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Rodrigo Munio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrancas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Munio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leo Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Munio in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Barrancas FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Guido Elazar hit a great ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Evelio Aurken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roldán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evelio Aurken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Barrancas FC's Prudencio Hernandez got control of the ball when Cipriano Iztal tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Aurken in the 83rd minute of play forced Barrancas FC's goalkeeper Prudencio Hernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prudencio Hernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Aurken in the 96th minute of play. The Roldán supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Roldán would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
