After 5 minutes of play, Raza Celeste CF's Federico Abad made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Epifanio Gumaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raza Celeste CF's Generoso Guter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Lope in the 7th minute of play. Gilberto Lope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ticucho AFC's zone, Federico Abad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Gumaro came out of the goal and Federico Abad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th match minute, Ticucho AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Bazil to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ticucho AFC's Pedro Dabi got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute, Pastor Chabier sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ticucho AFC's Epifanio Gumaro didn't even have to move. Zeledon Bladi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Gumaro having to interfere. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Raza Celeste CF's goalkeeper Generoso Guter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Constantino Giro kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Ticucho AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Bladi came free, but Epifanio Gumaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ticucho AFC's zone, Zeledon Bladi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Gumaro came out of the goal and Zeledon Bladi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zeledon Bladi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Raza Celeste CF's Pastor Chabier seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Pastor Chabier the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Raza Celeste CF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Pastor Chabier had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Raza Celeste CF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! Raza Celeste CF's Generoso Guter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Felo in the 73rd minute of play. In the 80th minute Gilberto Lope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Guter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Pedro Dabi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ticucho AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Dabi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Guter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Generoso Guter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Lope, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Gilberto Lope blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Generoso Guter having to make a save.
