Teobaldo Federigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Nicolas Aznaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Ler hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Teobaldo Federigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FIAT FC's Nicolas Aznaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Federigo in the 13th minute of play. Teobaldo Federigo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Nicolas Aznaro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 17th minute, Fabian Ler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th match minute, FIAT FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Seme to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Aznaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teobaldo Federigo's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. If Arsenio Raymundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gilbert AFC's zone, Jorge Seme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Seber came out of the goal and Jorge Seme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolas Aznaro made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Arsenio Raymundo sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Mateus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Federigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolas Aznaro. FIAT FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teobaldo Federigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Raymundo in the 57th minute of play forced FIAT FC's goalkeeper Nicolas Aznaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arsenio Raymundo struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Nicolas Aznaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gilbert AFC. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gilbert AFC's goalkeeper Clemente Seber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Gilbert AFC's Clemente Seber got control of the ball when Jorge Seme tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of FIAT FC booed when Gilbert AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Remir didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Raymundo in the 74th minute of play forced FIAT FC's goalkeeper Nicolas Aznaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FIAT FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Seme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolas Aznaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Raymundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
