Leo Chanos short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Fermin Dalmai to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Fermin Dalmai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Elija in the 7th minute of play. Mateo Txindoki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Eliazar hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Jimeno Gotzon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mateo Txindoki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Onna FC's Jimeno Gotzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Benvido in the 30th minute of play. Virgilio Benvido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Onna FC's goalkeeper Jimeno Gotzon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 35 minutes, Faustino Txordon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Onna FC and the INDEPENDIENTE F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Virgilio Benvido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Gotzon having to interfere. Faustino Txordon hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After the first half INDEPENDIENTE F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Mateo Txindoki made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Virgilio Benvido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 53 minutes, Godofredo Colas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Colas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Onna FC's Jimeno Gotzon got control of the ball when Virgilio Benvido tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leo Chano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Dalmai having to interfere. Onna FC's Jimeno Gotzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Colas in the 69th minute of play. Mateo Txindoki's late challenge caught a INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Txindoki helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes Onna FC got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Txindoki. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Godofredo Colas took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Jimeno Gotzon to make any attempt to save it. If Godofredo Colas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to INDEPENDIENTE F.C. getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Baldomiro Reynardo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s zone, Mateo Txindoki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Dalmai came out of the goal and Mateo Txindoki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
