After 6 played minutes NO PAIN NO GAIN got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Firman. 9 minutes into the match, Progresso's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Matxin came free, but Daniel Macerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octavio Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octavio Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Bazil having to interfere. If Octavio Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Charro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Daniel Macerio made a huge save. Rene Matxin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octavio Rico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Siro Bazil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After 53 minutes of play, NO PAIN NO GAIN's Melchor Charro made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Macerio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Melchor Charro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. NO PAIN NO GAIN were furious when Alberto Javiar was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in NO PAIN NO GAIN fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Orlando Procopio took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siro Bazil. Siro Bazil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Orlando Procopio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in Progresso's zone, Melchor Charro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Macerio came out of the goal and Melchor Charro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Richie charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Richie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Martin Richie kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octavio Rico got free with Siro Bazil in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 98th minute Orlando Procopio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Bazil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
