Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zeledon Mouricio got the match started through his kick off. If Augusto Aztore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Mouricio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermengildo Eguen having to make a save. In the 8th minute Zeledon Mouricio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Eguen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th match minute, C.A. Fighters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Aimar to maneuver through the defense. After 16 minutes, Zeledon Mouricio made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. C.A. Fighters's Hermengildo Eguen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hermengildo Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Mouricio in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, C.A. Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Mouricio came free, but Hermengildo Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermengildo Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Aztore in the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeledon Mouricio in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermengildo Eguen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Zeledon Mouricio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermengildo Eguen was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. When Zeledon Mouricio came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Metileo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Mouricio couldn't finish the play. Zeledon Mouricio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Aztore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The C.A. Fighters players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Metileo were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saverio Seme made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Zeledon Mouricio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Hermengildo Eguen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zeledon Mouricio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 51 minute of play. Hermengildo Eguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Mouricio in the 57th minute of play. Narciso Eriz kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Hermengildo Eguen made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Augusto Aztore sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the match, Metileo's Augusto Aztore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hermengildo Eguen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Augusto Aztore succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 69th playminute. When Leonides Aimar fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Fighters's protests and gave Leonides Aimar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Leonides Aimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, C.A. Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Mouricio came free, but Hermengildo Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Mouricio took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermengildo Eguen. Hermengildo Eguen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Leonides Aimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Mouricio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermengildo Eguen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Zeledon Mouricio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermengildo Eguen having to make a save. Augusto Aztore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Hermengildo Eguen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.A. Fighters's Hermengildo Eguen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Mouricio in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Augusto Aztore left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Metileo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Metileo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
