The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Nicanor Eneas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adan James blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesus Leizarraga having to make a save. Amado Amaya hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Fernan Balendin, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pitin Fresnedo made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Ceferino Jerardo sent off a good shot on target. Isidro Constancio might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pitin Fresnedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidro Constancio ran back to his position shaking his head. When Isidro Constancio came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Agite y Elegancia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Constancio couldn't finish the play. Higinio Ciano's late challenge caught a Agite y Elegancia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Ciano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Higinio Ciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 31 minutes, Isidro Constancio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agite y Elegancia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidro Constancio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Nicanor Eneas made a precise shot to the right of Jesus Leizarraga. Agite y Elegancia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Niceto Fero's late challenge caught a El Joro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niceto Fero helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of El Joro booed when Agite y Elegancia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Fero didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isidro Constancio to strike the kick off in the second half. Jesus Leizarraga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan James in the 54th minute of play. Adan James recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute Adan James shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Leizarraga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidro Constancio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adan James received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jesus Leizarraga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicanor Eneas got free with Jesus Leizarraga in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Agite y Elegancia's Niceto Fero got his second yellow card of the match in the 71st minute. The referee ordered Niceto Fero off the ground. In the 72nd minute, Niceto Fero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nicanor Eneas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Adan James's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jesus Leizarraga was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After 84 minutes, Alvaro Jago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agite y Elegancia and the El Joro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adan James struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Jesus Leizarraga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Joro. Adan James received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jesus Leizarraga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Adan James reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jesus Leizarraga. The goal made the score 0-2. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Nicanor Eneas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match was over El Joro could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Agite y Elegancia throughout the match.
