Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when German Senen took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Puntilla FC's zone, Honorato Obano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Jaizki came out of the goal and Honorato Obano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute German Senen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Jaizki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Senen in the 13th minute of play forced Puntilla FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Jaizki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Honorato Obano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ovidio Jaizki. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. 22 minutes in the game, German Senen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ovidio Jaizki having to interfere. Ovidio Jaizki didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 25th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Honorato Obano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Ovidio Jaizki made a huge save. German Senen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ovidio Jaizki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Puntilla FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Jurdan. 45 minutes into the game, Jeremias Mendiko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puntilla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rivas the free kick. Jeremias Mendiko hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximino Jurdan was the one to do the kick off. Ovidio Jaizki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Senen in the 53rd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Puntilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when German Senen came free, but Ovidio Jaizki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 minutes of play, Rivas's Honorato Obano made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidio Jaizki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ovidio Jaizki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Obano, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Puntilla FC's Ovidio Jaizki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Obano in the 67th minute of play. Honorato Obano charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorato Obano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Honorato Obano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Placido Frances managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Puntilla FC's Maximino Jurdan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Horacio Umea hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Placido Frances acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 79th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Arnaldo Cordeara. Blas Tuste scored 4-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Placido Frances, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Puntilla FC's Blas Tuste ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Placido Frances. Placido Frances yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. Thanks to some nice moves Blas Tuste could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Placido Frances however easily saved by the left post. Rivas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
