The Guaviraví AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After the first half Guaviraví AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Alegría Polo Team's Braulio Asur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Berdoi in the 52nd minute of play. Serafino Illart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner led to Guaviraví AFC's Jesus Fidencio getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Braulio Asur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Berdoi in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Guaviraví AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
