Melquiades Lauaxeta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casimiro Abeijon struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Clemente Clementi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trompul. Clemente Clementi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Mantzio in the 18th minute of play. When Melquiades Lauaxeta came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Juachas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Lauaxeta couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Juachas FC booed when Trompul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Abeijon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melquiades Lauaxeta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Castulo having to interfere. If Melquiades Lauaxeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29thth minute of the game Paolo Manilan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juachas FC's Clemente Clementi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paolo Manilan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidoro Lapurdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorato Lazcano kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Juachas FC's Isaias Castulo threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Melquiades Lauaxeta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Godfredo Pietro's late challenge caught a Juachas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Pietro helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Trompul:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Juachas FC:s goal. In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Juachas FC. Freddy Hustaz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Isaias Castulo. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isidoro Lapurdi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Manilan in the 55th minute of play forced Juachas FC's goalkeeper Clemente Clementi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Manilan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Clemente Clementi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Mitxel hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Espiridion during the 62nd minute. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Juachas FC's goalkeeper Clemente Clementi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isidoro Lapurdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Isaias Castulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Humberto Mantzio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemente Clementi. Juachas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Mantzio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Paolo Manilan struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Juachas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Lapurdi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Humberto Mantzio came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Trompul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Mantzio couldn't finish the play. Clemente Clementi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Manilan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Trompul defense, Isidoro Lapurdi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaias Castulo. The Trompul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaias Castulo should have stopped the shot. Trompul's Isaias Castulo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Lapurdi in the 97th minute of play.
