The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felipe Gaskon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Felipe Gaskon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Lapurdi went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 16 played minutes, Juachas FC's Vinicio Araoz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felipe Gaskon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Juachas FC reached it. In the 18th minute, Melquiades Lauaxeta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciro Tanio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Clemente Clementi made a huge save. Eustacio Jokin scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felipe Gaskon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ricotero FC's Ciro Tanio got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ignacio Dolfo came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Ricotero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Dolfo couldn't finish the play.
