Ciro Tanio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Castulo having to interfere. Honorato Lazcano charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorato Lazcano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute Humberto Mantzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Gaskon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Paolo Manilan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricotero FC's Felipe Gaskon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Manilan in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Mantzio in the 24th minute of play forced Ricotero FC's goalkeeper Felipe Gaskon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Bizi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Trompul's Isaias Castulo got control of the ball when Ciro Tanio tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Nicolas Bizi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaias Castulo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Bizi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes of play, Ricotero FC's Ciro Tanio made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaias Castulo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes into the match, Ricotero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Manilan came free, but Felipe Gaskon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Tanio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Castulo having to interfere. After 48 played minutes Trompul got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Barto. After 49 played minutes, Ricotero FC's Herminio Soter shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isaias Castulo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ricotero FC reached it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolas Bizi made a kick off. After some careless play in the Trompul defense, Ciro Tanio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaias Castulo. The Trompul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaias Castulo should have stopped the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Ricotero FC's goalkeeper Felipe Gaskon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Mantzio. If Humberto Mantzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 73 minutes, Nicolas Bizi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ricotero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Bizi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isaias Castulo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Bizi's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. When Ciro Tanio came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Ricotero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Tanio couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute Paolo Manilan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Gaskon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Bizi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaias Castulo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Trompul players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ricotero FC.
