Anquincila's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conrado Abalos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 32 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Cordaryal came free, but Clodoveo Ederono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
