Angelino Distiratsu might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ladislao Telesforo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Monteagudo AFC's players were relieved. After having played for 12 minutes, Ruben Guerrero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winning Eleven's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Guerrero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute, Monteagudo AFC's Felix Ordono seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Felix Ordono the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Monteagudo AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Felix Ordono had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Anier Sendoa struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Prudencio Garci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winning Eleven. Anier Sendoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Prudencio Garci made a huge save. After 25 played minutes Monteagudo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Simon Eder. With a little luck, Monteagudo AFC's Prudencio Garci got control of the ball when Anier Sendoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Prudencio Garci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anier Sendoa in the 31st minute. Anier Sendoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Garci having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Zeledon Donostia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 minutes, Ruben Guerrero made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Monteagudo AFC's Prudencio Garci tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelino Distiratsu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Winning Eleven booed when Monteagudo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Eder didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Ruben Guerrero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Prudencio Garci was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Simon Eder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ladislao Telesforo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Ruben Guerrero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Monteagudo AFC's Serafin Lucado got a free kick in the 65th minute. Winning Eleven's Ladislao Telesforo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Winning Eleven from getting a goal against them. Zeledon Donostia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruben Guerrero in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prudencio Garci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81stth minute of the game Ruben Guerrero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monteagudo AFC's Prudencio Garci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Prudencio Garci came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Winning Eleven's Ruben Guerrero. But to his dismay, Ruben Guerrero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Prudencio Garci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Guerrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Ruben Guerrero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Prudencio Garci was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st match minute, Monteagudo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Donostia to maneuver through the defense. Prudencio Garci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anier Sendoa in the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Winning Eleven fans cheered their team off the field, for while Monteagudo AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
