Gavino Diaz ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Bañitos FC defense, Esteban Montrell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonides Claus. The Bañitos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonides Claus should have stopped the shot. Abelardo Esdras hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Magia F.C's Arturo Abeita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonides Claus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 20 played minutes Bañitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Ekain. In the 22nd minute, Esteban Montrell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Magia F.C's Arturo Abeita got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Elorri in the 27th minute of play forced Magia F.C's goalkeeper Teodosio Hotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Valentin Ekain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Hotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Elorri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Magia F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bañitos FC:s goal. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Bañitos FC. Armando Kepa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Teodosio Hotz. 1-1. A collision led to Bañitos FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Valentin Ekain hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esteban Montrell to strike the kick off in the second half. Magia F.C's Teodosio Hotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Diaz in the 54th minute of play. Gavino Diaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gavino Diaz scored 2-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodosio Hotz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gavino Diaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 93 played minutes Bañitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Meder. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Arturo Abeita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magia F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Abeita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Claus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Magia F.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
