In the 3rd minute, Bartolo Gaur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the game, C. A. Belgrano's Raul Guzman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermegildo Barea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ermegildo Barea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Musko, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Bartolo Macario fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lehman's protests and gave Bartolo Macario a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, Lehman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Macario to maneuver through the defense. After 22 minutes, Amador Gurutz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lehman and the C. A. Belgrano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lehman's Amador Gurutz got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Ermegildo Barea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Musko in the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Belgrano's zone, Antonio Abad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Lia came out of the goal and Antonio Abad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evelio Musko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Barea having to interfere. Bartolo Macario got his second yellow card in the match during the 30th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Raul Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Barea having to interfere. Raul Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ermegildo Barea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lehman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Abad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Lehman players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C. A. Belgrano were winning 0-1.
The wind increased when Antonio Abad made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Lehman's Antonio Abad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Belgrano's Faustino Lia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Abad in the 57th minute of play. Raul Guzman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Lehman's Ermegildo Barea got control of the ball when Raul Guzman tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Amador Gurutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Antonio Abad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Lehman getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Amador Gurutz hit a great ball. Raul Guzman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Ermegildo Barea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
