Freddy Cordaryal came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Anquincila's Fabian Bizen. But to his dismay, Fabian Bizen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Córdoba Atletic Club's Silvano Frantzes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abel Garaona. That made the score 1-1 after 22 minutes of play. Diego Federigo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Anquincila's Fabian Bizen got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Córdoba Atletic Club getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Emanuel Favila hit a great ball. Aurelio Demesio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddy Cordaryal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. If Fabian Bizen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Bizen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Fabian Bizen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Freddy Cordaryal was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. When Luciano Errapel fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Córdoba Atletic Club's protests and gave Luciano Errapel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Córdoba Atletic Club getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Luciano Errapel hit a great ball. Freddy Cordaryal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Demesio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvano Frantzes to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Damaso Bixintxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anquincila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Bixintxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabian Bizen succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Luciano Errapel hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Fabian Bizen struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Freddy Cordaryal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anquincila. In the 79th match minute, Córdoba Atletic Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Favila to maneuver through the defense. Anquincila's Aurelio Demesio got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fabian Bizen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Anquincila's Aurelio Demesio fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Freddy Cordaryal was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Córdoba Atletic Club's goal looked a bit too open when Bernabe Castulo came free, but Freddy Cordaryal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
