Córdoba Atletic Club's Freddy Cordaryal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Córdoba Atletic Club from getting a goal against them. Uriel Cesario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Freddy Cordaryal made a huge save. A collision led to Córdoba Atletic Club getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Luciano Errapel hit a great ball. Moises Ortle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Frantzes in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, Tucumanao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Sein to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 33 minutes, Silvano Frantzes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Córdoba Atletic Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvano Frantzes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Freddy Cordaryal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uriel Cesario in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute, Emanuel Favila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Bazil was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Córdoba Atletic Club's zone, Isaias Bazil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Cordaryal came out of the goal and Isaias Bazil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Córdoba Atletic Club booed when Tucumanao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Hug didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Córdoba Atletic Club's Clodoveo Aurre broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. After some careless play in the Córdoba Atletic Club defense, Uriel Cesario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Freddy Cordaryal. The Córdoba Atletic Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddy Cordaryal should have stopped the shot. Isaias Bazil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Cordaryal having to interfere. Córdoba Atletic Club's Freddy Cordaryal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Cesario in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of Tucumanao FC booed when Córdoba Atletic Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Favila didn't get a good kick on the ball.
