In the 2nd minute, Rodrigo Remir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Basualdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Mero having to interfere. In the 7th minute Pascual Tiso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Mero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marcelo Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Honorato Tiso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gustavo Cresconio fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lumbreras FC's protests and gave Gustavo Cresconio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Omar Corderun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Arce in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorato Tiso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Omar Corderun struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Honorato Tiso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bengolea. Candido Mero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Basualdo in the 43rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bonifacio Santio during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

Rogelio Basualdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Mero having to interfere. Candido Mero came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Lumbreras FC's Rogelio Basualdo. But to his dismay, Rogelio Basualdo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Nicanor Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Raul Pietro, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bengolea's Omar Corderun got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rogelio Basualdo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 2-1 became the score in the 75th minute when Marcelo Arce elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Francisco Sagrario hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
