Leonardo Jesco started the match with the kick off. Napenay's Fidel Corderun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Jesco in the 4th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Edgardo Solustiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute of the match Tomás Quiroga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aaron Brun skillfully saved the ball. Gavilán FC's Aaron Brun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Solustiano in the 13th minute of play. Leonardo Jesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Fidel Corderun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Efraim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Corderun having to interfere. After having played for 35 minutes, Marcial Enmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Napenay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcial Enmanuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 39 minutes, Adrian Telmo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Napenay and the Gavilán FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gavilán FC booed when Napenay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Telmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Jesco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Corderun having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcial Enmanuel to make the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Marcial Enmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Napenay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcial Enmanuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marcial Enmanuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Napenay's Ezequiel Jordy dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. A collision led to Gavilán FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Leonardo Jesco hit a great ball. Gavilán FC's Abel Efraim got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Abel Efraim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Jesco in the 76th minute of play forced Napenay's goalkeeper Fidel Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Abel Efraim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fidel Corderun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Jesco in the 85th minute of the match. Ezequiel Jordy kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When Gavilán FC's Leonardo Jesco in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
