Geronimo Boniel might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Clodio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geronimo Boniel ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Claraz getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Vinicio Milian hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Claraz defense, Geronimo Boniel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Clodio. The Claraz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Clodio should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute, Silvestre Precioso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pascual Ur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Aguirre having to interfere. Lucas Clodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Nofre in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Claraz's Vinicio Milian got a free kick in the 30th minute. Vinicio Milian charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vinicio Milian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vinicio Milian hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Guido Nofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Clodio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascual Ur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Aguirre having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Geronimo Boniel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spezia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Geronimo Boniel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Lucas Clodio made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Spezia's zone, Aristides Sindo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimeno Aguirre came out of the goal and Aristides Sindo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Clodio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Nofre, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Lucas Clodio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Geronimo Boniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Lucas Clodio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Claraz's Pascual Ur nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimeno Aguirre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. 70 minutes into the game, Gustavo Hunfredo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Claraz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spezia the free kick. In the 73rd minute Guido Nofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Clodio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Geronimo Boniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 76 minutes, Guido Nofre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spezia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Nofre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th match minute, Claraz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Hunfredo to maneuver through the defense. Spezia's Guido Nofre got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aristides Sindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Claraz's goalkeeper Lucas Clodio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geronimo Boniel. When Guido Nofre came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Spezia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Nofre couldn't finish the play. Lucas Clodio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geronimo Boniel went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score.
