The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alejo Espiridion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Illart in the 15th minute of the match. Domingo Illart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Alejo Espiridion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliano Criston got free with Dario Ferrando in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Iratzeder made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Chacarita AFC's Domingo Illart sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejo Espiridion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dario Ferrando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Enekoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Placido Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karamazov's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
