Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Celso Papo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute of the match Ovidio Bittor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rogelio Azevedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 4 minutes into the game, Filomeno Gregory was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Independiente FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frusciante FC the free kick. Frusciante FC's Julio Cordeara got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frusciante FC's Cayetano Taurino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Frusciante FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Papo in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cayetano Taurino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the match, Independiente FC's Cosme Lucado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cayetano Taurino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Independiente FC's Cosme Lucado got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eustaquio Intxixu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogelio Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Frusciante FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Papo came free, but Cayetano Taurino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Independiente FC booed when Frusciante FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Bittor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Intxixu in the 37th minute of the match. Independiente FC's Rogelio Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Intxixu in the 39th minute of play. Rogelio Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Intxixu in the 41st minute of play. Cosme Lucado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Cayetano Taurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Papo struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Cayetano Taurino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente FC. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustaquio Intxixu to strike the kick off in the second half. Celso Papo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Cayetano Taurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosme Lucado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Taurino having to interfere. If Eustaquio Intxixu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Lucado in the 71st minute of play forced Frusciante FC's goalkeeper Cayetano Taurino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Celso Papo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Frusciante FC's Cayetano Taurino. Cayetano Taurino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Cosme Lucado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Candido Garin's late challenge caught a Frusciante FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Candido Garin helped the player get up and apologised. If Eustaquio Intxixu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Independiente FC had won after a very even match.
